First Look: Unreal Tournament 3 With PhysX

Here's a sneek peek of an Unreal Tournament 3 mod built to show what kind of stuff the PPU can do in the game. This clip is from the Leipzig Games Conference.

More After The Jump

It looks like we're seeing destructible environments that effect game play. For example you can see the scene where the roof is cleared in order to allow for a clean sniper shot. The tornado also tears through the level creating obstacles on the fly which is a bit different.

ok.. this level looks sorta alright and the wind is a kewl - but compared to the rest of ut3 i'm kind of unimpressed. can we see more levels with physx or at least something bigger and better with a tornado?

Will this map be included in the UT3 launch or be available for download? Hope more maps along this line are in the works as ive been waiting for stuff like this since the physX cards came out. Also i know of two new sales of the physX card due to just this one video that ive shown to my UT playing mates.

realy nice looking engine

btw its called the Leipzig Games Convention
